Scott Strong is the new hitting coach for 2012. Strong held the same position for the divisional rival New Bedford Bay Sox last summer. He is in his third season as an assistant at nearby Southern New Hampshire University, his alma mater. His coaching contributed to the Penmen’s first-ever run to the DII College World Series. In addition to assisting head coach Scott Louiseau, Strong is the head coach of the Penmen JV program. As a member of the SNHU baseball staff, Strong coached former Muskrat pitchers Garrett Jewell and Zach LeBarron. Scott is from Naperville, Illinois.
