Holbrook served as the ace on a loaded pitching staff that carried Wheaton College to the Division III NCAA Tournament College World Series this spring. Holbrook went undefeated during his junior season, winning 10 of his 12 starts while posting a team-best 1.20 ERA. Holbrook established a new program record, picking up his 10th win of the season by shutting down Cortland State over eight innings in the College World Series.

The Aquidneck Island native is a former Newport Gulls batboy and his family has also been a host family for Gulls players in the past. The veteran right hand pitcher will provide valuable innings as either a starter or reliever with the Gulls this summer.
