Dan makes his Atlantic League debut with the Bluefish during his eighth season of professional baseball. The former Major Leaguer joins the ‘Fish after appearing in three games for Triple-A Reno of the Arizona Diamondbacks organization earlier this year.

The 26-year-old was originally drafted by the Diamondbacks in the seventh round of the 2006 amateur draft and spent five seasons in the minors before getting the call to ‘The Show’ in 2010 with Arizona. He appeared in four games for the big club to finish out that campaign. Over the course of 208 career minor league appearances, the righthander owns a 23-18 record with a 4.36 ERA, 57 saves, and 246 strikeouts in 262 innings of work.
