HIGH SCHOOL
A 2011 graduate of Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Ariz…following his senior season, was named to the Arizona Class 5A Second Team after leading the Fiesta League with 13 home runs…in addition, finished in the league’s top five in batting average (.427), RBIs (26), slugging percentage (.963) and on-base percentage (.557)…also scored 20 runs, drew 24 walks and had five doubles…as a junior in 2010, batted .411 with 13 home runs, 40 RBIs, 19 runs scored, 11 doubles, a .937 slugging percentage and a .521 on-base percentage  while drawing 22 walks…was a three-time all-region selection (2009-11)…was ranked the 19th prospect in the state of Arizona according to Perfect Game…was a gold medalist for the USA Baseball 16U National Team in 2009…two-time Scholar-Athlete of the Week…also played one season of volleyball his senior year.

CLUB
Under head coach Ron Forbs, played for the Connie Mack Firebirds as the club was the runner-up in the 2011 Connie Mack World Series.

Parents are Russell and Dawn Chase…has one brother, Spencer, and two sisters, Amanda and Shayla…major is undeclared.
