#5 Pete Incaviglia - Profile

Pete Incavigla returns to Laredo for his fourth season with the Lemurs after the leading the club to a 164-135 record in the franchise's first three years, a .549 winning percentage.  

Previously, he piloted the Grand Prairie AirHogs from 2008 to 2010, leading the club to the league championship series in 2008. He also spent the 2004-2006 seaons as the hitting coach for the Erie Seawolves, the Detroit Tigers’ Double-A affiliate.

As a player, Incaviglia spent 12 seasons in the major leagues, hitting a total of 206 home runs and appearing in the 1993 World Series with the Philadelphia Phillies. He made his big-league debut in 1986 with the Texas Rangers without having spent any time in the minor leagues.  Incaviglia also holds several NCAA single-season records, including 48 home runs and 143 RBI, which he set in 1985 for Oklahoma State University.
