In his first year at Oral Roberts, Drew has proven to be a very effective option on the mound, whether it is as a starter or in a relief role. In 12 appearances and 4 total starts, he had a 2-1 record and struck out 40 batters over 32 innings while walking just 21 and posting a solid ERA of 4.78. Even more impressive he allowed just seven hits for extra-bases on the season. In high school he helped to lead the Tulsa Memorial High Chargers to four conference championships and was named the conference pitcher of the year in 2008, his senior season. His career high school numbers are sparkling: a 15-6 record with an ERA of just 1.85. One of three players joining the Honkers from Oral Roberts this summer, Drew should see plenty of action.
