Back for his second go-round in Wareham, Dennis is looking to improve upon an active summer last year.
Playing in 36 of the Gatemen’s 44 games, Dennis hit .178 with one double, one triple, and six RBI.
At Michigan this past spring, the sophomore started off solid, hitting .281 in 24 games with four doubles and eight RBI.
A 10th round choice by the Tampa Bay Rays after his All-American career at Forest Hills High School in Michigan, Dennis had a great freshman campaign in Ann Arbor for the Wolverines, earning All-Big Ten Freshman Team honors. In 53 games last year, he hit .267 with five doubles, four homers, and 32 RBI.
At Forest Hills, Dennis was a Louisville Slugger Preseason First Team All-America selection prior to his senior season. He was also a three-time First Team All-Conference and All-Region selection and one-time All-State choice, an honor he also earned in basketball.
Dennis is a sport management major at Michigan.
