As a senior at division two Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire…appeared 16 times starting five games for the Ravens while throwing a total of 41 innings…In those 41 innings, Glew had a 4.39 ERA with 54 strike outs and just 13 walks while accounting for three saves on the season…In his junior season, Glew appeared 10 times starting nine games while throwing 48.2 innings with a 3.33 ERA with 44 strikeouts to just 17 walks en route to a 5-1 overall record…Before his time at Franklin Pierce, Glew spent two seasons at division three junior college Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Mass…In his sophomore season, Glew threw 46 innings (second most on team) in nine appearances and threw two complete games in his two starts with a 1.37 ERA that saw him allow only seven earned runs while striking out 60 batters…In his freshman season, Glew was the ace as he threw 72 innings in 16 appearances and nine starts with a 2.63 ERA with 79 strikeouts and 22 walks which included four saves and five complete games…Glew went to North Andover High School in Massachusetts.
