Nick Laster makes his way to the NECBL after a productive junior season at Eastern Kentucky. An Atlanta native, Laster has been an instrumental part of the Colonel bullpen in his three seasons in Richmond.  He has pitched in at least 17 games each year, increasing his strikeout total from 18 to 24 in that time.  Laster has also pitched at least 24 innings every season, hitting a career high of 29.1 as a sophomore. Last season, he racked up a career high three wins out of the bullpen, stymieing batters as his batting average against was a career low at .244.  Laster will look to be a shutdown reliever out of the Mainer bullpen this summer.
