The most consistent hitter in the Rutgers lineup all season long, Dezzi recently completed a strong redshirt freshman season for the Scarlet Knights. He flirted with the .300 mark the entire season and never went more than two games without a hit for New Jersey’s Big Ten team. Made college debut at the University of Miami with three hits in the series against the national power. Went 3-for-5 with a two-run walkoff single to beat Butler on Feb. 22 and 2-for-5 with a walk in series opener at Florida Gulf Coast on March 15. Dezzi went 3-for-4 with two RBI doubles at Indiana State on March 22. Scored six runs in three-game series at Iowa in April. Tim had two hits and the go-ahead RBI in win at Lafayette.
