2017 (So.): Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll and elected to the team's leadership council for his second year. Went 0-1 with a 4.20 ERA in 12 games including 10 relief appearances and two starts. Allowed seven earned runs in 15.0 innings. Struck out 15 batters and walked 13. Limited opponents to a .211 batting average while allowing just two extra base hits.

2017 (Loggers): Appeared in 16 games for the Loggers, making six starts. Posted a 4.72 ERA over 47.2 innings with 41 strikeouts, fifth most on the staff. Finished the season hot for the Loggers, allowing only six runs in his last 24.1 innings pitched (2.22 ERA). His best outing of the season came in a win over Thunder Bay (8/4) where he tossed 6.2 scoreless innings, allowing only two hits while striking out six.

2016 (Fr.): Made eight appearances on the mound, all in relief. Posted a 4.15 ERA with 12 strikeouts in 13.0 innings. Made his collegiate debut versus North Carolina (3/18). Pitched a season-high 4.1 innings at Wake Forest (3/25), striking out a season-high six.

PERSONAL: Born Hunter Robert Davis on May 28, 1996. Son of Bryan and Josephine Davis and has one older sister Caroline. Mother played basketball at Vanderbilt University from 1977-79. Majoring in economics.
