Lou Evans is in his first season with San Rafael and his first professional season since 2005, when he played with the Chico Outlaws of the Golden Baseball League. A native of Milpitas, Evans was drafted in the 19th round of the 2001 MLB 1st Year Player Draft out of San Jose City College. Evans reached as high as Advanced A Jupiter in 2004 before being release. Lou now is a full time musician who writes and sings his own songs.
