SUMMER COLLEGIATE (WCL): Played his first season of collegiate summer league baseball with the AppleSox last summer...finished with the team’s fifth-best average at .271...23 hits, 8 RBIs, and 18 walks... capped a rough start to his collegiate career at the plate (was hitting .212 on July 1) with standout months in July and August (went 18-for-50, hitting .360 in the final two months).
