Joe, a native Californian, comes from a baseball family and has a true love of the game.  He was raised in the East Bay and is the youngest of five children all of whom played baseball and softball competitively.

He played college baseball at Los Medanos Jr College and later was named head coach for Ygnacio Valley JV baseball, Most recently, Joe has been an assistant coach at Pleasant Valley High School. 

Joe is married, has two daughters, and lives in Chico.
