As a freshman at Maryland Enck appeared in 5 games, starting one. He made his Maryland debut against Alabama where he had two strikeouts in 1.2 innings. In Enck’s first career collegiate start against Delaware, he pitched 2.2 innings while contributing 4 strikeouts. Enck finished his freshman year with 8 strikeouts in 6 innings and finished with an ERA of 7.50. While playing for the Amsterdam Mohawks of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League Enck posted a 5-1 record with an ERA of 0.39 while striking out 24 in 46 innings pitched.

Cameron Enck attended Lampeter Strasburg High school where he was part of the District Championship team his freshman year. Enck was named First Team All-League in addition to being awarded a 2015 Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American.
