The San Rafael Pacifics (32-25) and the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (35-28) exchanged the lead five times on Thursday, but the San Rafael Pacifics ended up on top with a 9-4 win over the Maui Na Koa Ikaika.

Bunyu Maeda was solid at the plate for the San Rafael Pacifics. Maeda went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.

Bill Lee got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over nine innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered eight hits.

Matt Walker (3-5) took the loss for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika. He allowed seven runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out two.
