Jessie Smith kept the San Rafael Pacifics (31-24) off the board during his six innings of work and the Maui Na Koa Ikaika (34-27) beat the San Rafael Pacifics, 3-1.

Smith struck out five and allowed one walk and four hits.

Jose M Sanchez helped the Maui Na Koa Ikaika pull ahead for the duration in the ninth inning. Kalaika Kahoohalahala singled to start the ninth. He then went from first to third on an RBI double by Nick Valdez. Finally, M Sanchez came to the plate with the score tied at one, and reached on an error, plating Kahoohalahala and Valdez.

Yoshihiro Doi recorded his first win of the year for the Maui Na Koa Ikaika. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Matthew Stabelfeld (2-3) took the loss for the San Rafael Pacifics. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
