The San Rafael Pacifics sixth-inning burst enough to top the Hawaii Stars, 11-2

The San Rafael Pacifics (10-7) blew out the Hawaii Stars (9-8) 11-2 on Saturday at Albert Park after pouring on nine runs in the sixth inning.

Steve Boggs helped the San Rafael Pacifics pull ahead for the duration in the sixth inning. After Chase Fontaine doubled, Boggs came to the plate with zero outs in the sixth and doubled, plating Fontaine.

Boggs racked up three RBIs on three hits for the San Rafael Pacifics. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Will Krasne brought the heat against the Hawaii Stars during his outing. Krasne held the Hawaii Stars hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Matthew Durkin got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed two runs over six innings. Durkin struck out seven, walked three and gave up five hits.

Dallas Mahan couldn't get it done on the hill for the Hawaii Stars, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
