Dan Sausville held the New Jersey (8-5) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Worcester (6-7) to a 3-0 victory.

Sausville struck out four and allowed two walks and five hits.

Johnny Welch paced the Worcester at the plate. Welch went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Kyle Greenwalt was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
