The Fort Worth Cats defeat the Abilene Prairie Dogs after late game single, 11-6

The Fort Worth Cats (48-37) took the last of four lead changes in a back-and-forth affair against the Abilene Prairie Dogs (32-52), securing a 11-6 victory on Friday at Walt Driggers Field.

Antoin Gray did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Fort Worth Cats, reaching base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Danny Gonzalez led the Abilene Prairie Dogs' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Even though Trevor Harden allowed five runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his ninth of the season. He struck out seven, walked three and surrendered nine hits.

Derrick Dingeman was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked one and struck out one.
