The San Angelo Colts (36-34) jumped out to an early lead on the Abilene Prairie Dogs (28-41) and captured a 10-3 victory on Monday at Walt Driggers Field.

Six runs in the first three innings allowed the San Angelo Colts to put the game away early.

A two-run triple by Daryl Jones and an RBI single by Landon Camp in the first inning and a solo home run by Michael Pair during the second inning supplied the early offense for the San Angelo Colts.

Cory Patton had two extra-base hits for the San Angelo Colts. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings and singled in the first and eighth innings.

Mark Willinsky struck out eight, paving the way for a the San Angelo Colts win. Willinsky allowed three earned runs on five hits and one walk over eight innings.

Sean White (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked none and struck out none.
