The Abilene Prairie Dogs need extra frames to finish the San Angelo Colts, win 7-3

The Abilene Prairie Dogs (24-38) took home a marathon 7-3 victory over the San Angelo Colts (32-32) on Monday at Foster Field.

With the score tied at three, Jason Martin came to the plate and hit into a fielder's choice, plating Davis Page.

Martin helped the Abilene Prairie Dogs take the lead for good in the eleventh inning.

Wilson Batista racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Abilene Prairie Dogs. He homered in the eighth inning and singled in the sixth and eleventh innings.

Billy Petrick handled the San Angelo Colts' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Petrick allowed one earned run on seven hits and no walks over seven innings.

Kevin Gelinas improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Abilene Prairie Dogs. Gelinas struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Michael Hacker (2-4) took the loss for the San Angelo Colts. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
