Jagdeo's big day not enough as the Hamilton Cardinals fall to the Burlington Twins, 11-10

Daniel Jagdeo hit two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Hamilton Cardinals (4-13) to a win on Saturday, as the Hamilton Cardinals fell to the Burlington Twins (6-9) 11-10 at Nelson Park in 11 innings.

Jagdeo racked up six RBIs on four hits for the Hamilton Cardinals. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the sixth and eighth innings.

The two teams combined for 21 runs and 28 hits, including zero extra base hits. Both bullpens were busy with eight pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.

Alex Gale got the win for the Burlington Twins. He pitched two-thirds shutout innings. Gale struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Nino Fasulo (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.

The Burlington Twins' Kyle Gappa, Jamie Lekas, Branson Joseph and Darryl Pui combined for nine hits and five RBIs.
