A three-run home run by Adam Humes helped the Chugiak Chinooks score three runs in the ninth. The Chugiak Chinooks had two hits in the inning.
Kristopher Kwak racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Chugiak Chinooks. He singled in the first and fourth innings and homered in the sixth inning.
Clint Manzo picked up the win for the Chugiak Chinooks. Manzo pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk while striking out four.
Jon Maciel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
