Spiers' walk-off single send the St Paul Saints home winners, 4-3

A walk-off single from Joe Spiers brought home the winning run for the St Paul Saints in a 4-3 victory over the Quebec Capitales in 11 innings at Midway Stadium on Friday.

Spiers racked up two RBIs on two hits for the St Paul Saints. He singled in the second and eleventh innings.

Adam Frost was solid at the plate for the St Paul Saints. Frost went 3-5 and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Bret Severtson had an impressive outing against the Quebec Capitales (44-21)'s lineup. Severtson held the Quebec Capitales hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.

Guillaume Leduc (2-4) took the loss for the Quebec Capitales. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
