Stephen Pearson had two extra base hits as the Laredo Lemurs took home a 2-0 victory over the Worcester Tornadoes (14-31) at Uni-Trade Stadium on Friday.

The Worcester Tornadoes had no answer for Garrett Sherrill, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Worcester Tornadoes managed just three hits off of Sherrill, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his five innings of work.

Dan Sausville couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Worcester Tornadoes, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
