The Quebec (9-4) beat the Rockland (4-11) 9-6 on Saturday at Provident Bank Park behind Jonathan Malo, who had two extra base hits.
He doubled in the fourth inning and tripled in the sixth inning.Cole Kraft racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rockland. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Jeff Duda improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Quebec. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. Duda struck out six, walked four and gave up five hits.
Bobby Blevins (1-3) took the loss for the Rockland. He allowed eight runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out three.
The Quebec were sparked by Normand Gosselin and Malo, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.
