The Kansas City T-Bones scored one run in the ninth on an RBI single by Brandon Jones. Despite their efforts, the Kansas City T-Bones couldn't finish the comeback.

Adam Buschini racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Amarillo Sox. He singled in the fifth innings and doubled in the third and eighth innings.

Chad Povich got the win, running his season record to 4-1. He allowed one run over 1 2/3 innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Dustin Loggins ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
