A walk-off single from Andres Rodriguez brought home the winning run for the Grand Prairie AirHogs (48-43) in a 3-2 victory over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks at QuikTrip Park on Thursday.
Rodriguez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He singled in the seventh and ninth innings.
Brian Myrow reached base four times. He doubled in the fifth inning.
Josh Strawn pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and one walk while striking out three.
Zach Penprase was solid at the plate for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (59-31). Penprase went 2-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.
Adam Miller got the win, running his season record to 2-2. Miller struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.
Joe Harris ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed one run.
