A walk-off two-run blast from Wilberto Ortiz brought home the winning run for the Lincoln Saltdogs (35-50) in a 7-5 victory over the Amarillo Sox (41-45) at Haymarket Park on Saturday.

Ortiz racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He homered in the ninth inning.

David Espinosa racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third, fourth, and eighth innings.

Moises Melendez had an impressive outing against the Amarillo Sox's lineup. Melendez gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Adam Buschini racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Amarillo Sox. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Yohan Gonzalez recorded his first win of the year for the Lincoln Saltdogs. Gonzalez struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Chase Johnson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
