The Grand Prairie AirHogs (44-36) had a tough outing on Saturday, as the Laredo Lemurs (38-41) dominated in a 13-5 win at Uni-Trade Stadium.
The Laredo Lemurs scored three runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Jimmy Mojica, an RBI single by Palmer Karr Jr., and a sacrifice fly by John Allen.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the second, with three lead changes.
Stephen Pearson had two extra-base hits for the Laredo Lemurs. He singled in the fourth inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and tripled in the seventh inning.
Ryan Sasaki got his fourth win for the Laredo Lemurs despite allowing five runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered nine hits.
Nick DeBarr (12-5) took the loss for the Grand Prairie AirHogs. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked three and struck out two.
