Valenzuela's walk-off single send the El Paso Diablos home winners, 7-6

A walk-off single from Fernando Valenzuela brought home the winning run for the El Paso Diablos (37-39) in a 7-6 victory over the Sioux City Explorers in 10 innings at Cohen Stadium on Saturday.

The El Paso Diablos were led by Valenzuela's hitting. Valenzuela went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and tenth innings.

Welington Dotel paced the El Paso Diablos at the plate. Dotel went 2-3 and scored two runs. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Ronny Morla improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the El Paso Diablos. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Chuck Lukanen was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
