Steve Brown clubbed two home runs to carry the Quebec Capitales to an 11-6 win over the Sioux Falls Pheasants (32-38) at Sioux Falls Stadium.

The Quebec Capitales were in a difficult situation in the fourth inning before they recovered for the win.

Ridge Carpenter had a hot bat for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. Carpenter went 1-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fourth inning.

Tony Davis got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed one run over one inning. Davis struck out one, walked two and gave up one hit.

Dan Cooper couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Sioux Falls Pheasants, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

The Quebec Capitales were sparked by Brown and Patrick D'Aoust, who teamed up for eight hits and nine RBIs.
