The Sioux City Explorers (27-31) outlasted the Kansas City T-Bones (31-27) on Tuesday after seven lead changes, squeaking out a 6-4 win at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

The Sioux City Explorers took the lead in the ninth inning and held on for the victory. A sacrifice fly by Kris Sanchez scored Brian Bistagne to give the Sioux City Explorers the lead for good.

Peter Barrows put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for the Sioux City Explorers. He homered in the fourth inning, singled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the first and ninth innings.

Brandon Jones racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Kansas City T-Bones. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth innings.

Chris Bodishbaugh improved to 5-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Sioux City Explorers. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Steve Kent was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
