Brandon Jones put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Kansas City T-Bones. He doubled in the fifth and seventh innings and singled in the first and twelfth innings.
Steve Kent pitched lights out for the Kansas City T-Bones. Kent held the Wichita Wingnuts hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Jared Simon ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
