Mike Zenko brought home the go-ahead run to give the Fargo-Moorhead (14-18) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Fargo-Moorhead hung on to beat the Sioux City (17-17) 6-5 on Wednesday.
With the Fargo-Moorhead trailing by two, Zenko came to the plate and homered, bringing home Sergio Pedroza and Nic Jackson.Pedroza racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Fargo-Moorhead. He singled in the second inning.
Zenko had an impressive outing against the Sioux City's lineup. Zenko held the Sioux City hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Eddie Delacruz couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Sioux City, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
