The Grand Prairie (11-9) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring seven runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 17-3 win over the El Paso (4-17) at Cohen Stadium.

The Grand Prairie scored four runs in the ninth on a passed ball, a passed ball, a two-run single by Greg Porter, an error, and a sacrifice fly by Brian Myrow.

Trent Lockwood got on base five times in the game for the Grand Prairie. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the eighth inning and singled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Josh Strawn picked up the win for the Grand Prairie. Strawn allowed three earned runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out seven over nine innings of work.

Colin Allen (0-3) took the loss for the El Paso. He allowed 10 runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.

The Grand Prairie pounded the El Paso pitching, as six hitters combined for 18 hits, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
