A walk-off double from Jim Rapoport brought home the winning run for the St Paul (6-4) in a 6-5 victory over the Sioux City (5-5) in 11 innings at Midway Stadium on Sunday.
Rapoport had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the seventh inning, singled in the ninth inning, and doubled in the eleventh inning.
Reid Mahon got the win, running his season record to 1-2. Mahon struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.
Jon Plefka (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
The St Paul 's Ole Sheldon, Rapoport and Tanner Townsend combined for eight hits and five RBIs.
The Sioux City brought home two runs in the second inning, and matched that run total in the fifth. In the second, the Sioux City scored on a solo home run by Kris Sanchez.
