Smith blasted two home runs for the Somerset Patriots. Smith went 2-5 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Smith homered in the second and seventh innings.

Chase Wright improved to 5-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Somerset Patriots. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Chris Hayes (3-1) took the loss for the Long Island Ducks. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
