Gilberto Mejia had two extra base hits, helping the Lancaster Barnstormers (69-40) to a 7-2 victory over the Sugar Land Skeeters (49-61) on Wednesday at Clipper Magazine.

Manuel Mejia went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He singled in the third, fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Alan Johnson recorded his eleventh win of the year for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered eight hits.

Jeff Farnsworth (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed two runs.

Adam Godwin, Ryan Harvey and Mejia helped lead the Lancaster Barnstormers. They combined for six hits and four RBIs.
