The Lancaster Barnstormers (68-40) were unable to fight back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Sugar Land Skeeters (49-60), and the Lancaster Barnstormers lost 3-2 to the Sugar Land Skeeters after falling behind by three runs in the third inning.

The Lancaster Barnstormers scored on an RBI triple by Bridger Hunt in the fourth inning and a solo home run by Blake Gailen in the fifth inning. Still, the Lancaster Barnstormers couldn't draw even.

The Sugar Land Skeeters were led by a flawless day at the dish by Matt Hagen, who went 3-3 against the Lancaster Barnstormers' pitching. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Jason Lane improved to 5-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He allowed two runs over five innings. Lane struck out four, walked one and gave up six hits.

Dwayne Pollok (11-2) took the loss for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
