The Bridgeport Bluefish outdone by Burgamy and the Camden Riversharks, 8-4

Brian Burgamy had two extra base hits as the Camden Riversharks (48-53) took home an 8-4 victory over the Bridgeport Bluefish (48-53) at Campbells Field on Wednesday.

He doubled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and homered in the seventh inning.

Mike McGuire picked up the win for the Camden Riversharks. McGuire pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and one walk while striking out four.

Brad Boyer racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He homered in the second inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Brad Thompson (3-1) took the loss for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out three.

The Camden Riversharks were sparked by Raul Padron and Burgamy, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
