The York Revolution (49-47) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-3 to the Lancaster Barnstormers (61-35) on Thursday.
The Lancaster Barnstormers took the lead in the fifth inning on a double by Blake Gailen.
Gilberto Mejia paced the Lancaster Barnstormers at the plate. Mejia went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.
It was a good day at the plate for the York Revolution's Scott Grimes. Grimes went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.
J.D. Durbin improved to 8-8 on the year by picking up the win for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He allowed three runs over six innings. Durbin struck out six, walked four and gave up seven hits.
Ryan Feierabend (4-3) took the loss for the York Revolution. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
