Josh Pressley went 4-4 at the plate as the Sugar Land Skeeters (34-45) took home an 11-7 victory over the Long Island Ducks (43-36) at Bethpage Ballpark on Sunday.

Bryant Nelson had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth and ninth innings.

Michael Nix got the win, running his season record to 3-7. He allowed two runs over six innings. Nix struck out two, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Chris Flinn (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
