Jason Lane had two extra base hits, helping the Sugar Land Skeeters (29-40) to a 6-2 victory over the Bridgeport Bluefish (30-39) on Saturday at Constellation Field, Sugar Land.

Bobby Livingston's seven strikeouts helped the Sugar Land Skeeters to the victory. Livingston allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks over six innings.

Eddie Rogers had a hot bat for the Bridgeport Bluefish. Rogers went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Chris Hayes (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

The Sugar Land Skeeters were sparked by Iggy Suarez and Manuel Mejia, who teamed up for seven hits and four RBIs.
