The Sugar Land Skeeters (27-38) beat the Bridgeport Bluefish (28-37) 8-4 on Monday at Harbor Yard behind Octavio Martinez, who collected four hits.

Raymar Diaz looked sharp on the mound. The Sugar Land Skeeters managed just one hit off of the the Bridgeport Bluefish's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Bobby Livingston improved to 8-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Livingston struck out six, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Chris Hayes was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
