The Lancaster Barnstormers' Pedroza comes through in the clutch, upends the York Revolution, 8-5

Jaime Pedroza brought home the go-ahead run to give the Lancaster Barnstormers (39-24) the lead in the eighth inning, as the Lancaster Barnstormers hung on to beat the York Revolution (33-30) 8-5 on Sunday.

Brad Boyer singled to start the eighth. He then went from first to second on a groundout by Francisco Hernandez. Finally, Pedroza came to the plate with the score tied at five, and singled, scoring Boyer.

Pedroza went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He singled in the first, second, and eighth innings.

Andres Perez racked up two RBIs on one hit for the York Revolution. He homered in the seventh inning.

Jeff Bennett improved to 4-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

James Houser (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
