Wednesday was a great day for Ryan Harvey, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Lancaster Barnstormers (37-22) to a 13-9 victory over the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (27-32) at Regency Furniture Stadium.
Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 22 total runs and 28 hits during the game. There were nine pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.
Mark Brackman recorded his fourth win for the Lancaster Barnstormers even though he allowed six runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered 11 hits.
Virgil Vasquez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.
