The Long Island Ducks (34-24) put in a full day's work in a 10-inning, 6-3 win over the Somerset Patriots (28-31) Sunday at TD Bank Ballpark.

With the score tied at three in the tenth inning, Reid Gorecki came to the plate and homered, plating Ray Navarrete and Bryant Nelson.

Jon Hunton improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Long Island Ducks. Hunton struck out none, walked none and gave up two hits.
