Joe Holden was cold coming off the bench, but Holden warmed up quickly as Holden stroked a key pinch-hit single in the four to lead the Somerset Patriots (27-29) to an 11-4 win over the Bridgeport Bluefish (24-32) on Sunday at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard.

With the Somerset Patriots leading by one in the fourth inning, Holden came to the plate and singled, scoring Freddy Sandoval.

Holden racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Somerset Patriots.

Sandoval got on base four times in the game for the Somerset Patriots. He scored three runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Raymar Diaz couldn't get it done on the hill for the Bridgeport Bluefish, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
